Why South of Fifth

A boutique med spa & functional wellness clinic three blocks from Ocean Drive..

Walk in from 5th Street. Park in the attached garage at $4/hr or grab free street parking. See the same provider who planned your treatment.

Our med spa sits at 1000 5th Street, Suite 414 — South of Fifth, the small quiet wedge of Miami Beach between Alton Road and the ocean. It’s a four-minute walk to Joe’s Stone Crab, three blocks to the South Pointe Pier, and an eight-minute drive from Brickell across the MacArthur Causeway.

We chose this address deliberately. SoFi runs on regulars — patients who live in the Continuum, the Murano, the Apogee; who work in Brickell and cross over for treatments; who fly into MIA and stop by before checking into the Faena or the Setai. A med spa in Miami Beach doesn’t need to oversell. It needs to know its patients by face, not by intake form.

The aesthetic clinic side — injectables, microneedling, Kybella, prescription skincare — is all performed at this address. The functional wellness clinic side — hormones, GLP-1 weight loss, peptides, IV therapy, and lab-driven care — happens here too, with telehealth available for follow-ups when you’d rather not drive over the causeway just to review a panel.

Why patients leave other Miami Beach med spas

Three things you'll only find at a one-provider med spa.

01

The injector is the owner — not an hourly aesthetician.

Most every med spa in Miami Beach rotates four to six injectors through a single calendar. The person who consults isn't always the person who injects. At our practice, the only person who touches your face is Kelly — a Master's-prepared, board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a separate certification in Functional Medicine. If you book her today, you'll see her in three months, in six, in two years.

02

A real functional wellness clinic — not just a vitamin drip menu.

Walk into most "wellness" med spas in Miami Beach and you'll find a laminated IV menu and not much else. Our functional wellness clinic runs full panels — thyroid, sex hormones, insulin, leptin, cortisol, inflammation markers — before prescribing GLP-1s, peptides, or hormones. The aesthetic clinic side and the lab side live in the same chart, with the same provider.

03

Convenient by design, not by accident.

Attached parking garage at $4/hr, plus free street parking around the building during business hours (one nearby zone is pay-to-park — signage will indicate). Walking distance from the Continuum, Apogee, and Portofino Tower. Eight minutes from Brickell. Same-week consults for new patients. Direct text access for existing ones. No surprise rebooking with a different "available" provider. The logistics were built around how Miami Beach actually lives.

About Your Injector

Kelly Wolfe, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Kelly is the owner of South Florida Face and Body. A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner trained at the University of Miami, she holds advanced degrees in nursing, biochemistry, and biology, with graduate research focused on metabolism and the role of leptin and appetite-suppressing hormones. She practices at the intersection of functional medicine and aesthetic injection — meaning the conversations in her treatment room often go beyond the syringe to consider sleep, hormones, metabolism, and inflammation as part of how your skin and face actually present.

Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Florida (APRN #11005134), Kelly brings more than three decades of experience in health, fitness, and clinical practice. She has performed aesthetic injections in South Florida for over a decade and has trained alongside the dermatology and plastic surgery community that built Miami’s aesthetic reputation.

She is the one who answers your text message. She is the one who calls the day after your injection.

From your first consultation through every follow-up, you’ll work directly with Kelly — one injector, one set of hands, one consistent plan.

For Miami Beach Patients

The questions we get most often.

If you're new to the practice and considering booking at our South of Fifth med spa, these are the answers patients tell us they wished they'd had upfront.

Where is your Miami Beach med spa located?

1000 5th Street, Suite 414, Miami Beach, FL 33139. We’re in the South of Fifth (SoFi) neighborhood — three blocks south of Ocean Drive, one block from Joe’s Stone Crab, and a five-minute walk to the South Pointe Pier.

Phone: (786) 529-1860. Hours: Monday–Friday 10am–6pm, Saturday 10am–2pm. Attached parking garage at $4/hr, plus free street parking around the building during business hours (one nearby zone is pay-to-park — signage will indicate).

med spa focuses on aesthetic treatments — Botox, dermal fillers, microneedling, Kybella, prescription skincare — performed by a licensed medical professional. A functional wellness clinic looks at the root drivers of how you feel and age: hormones, metabolism, inflammation, sleep, body composition, GLP-1 weight management, peptides, and IV therapy.

South Florida Face and Body is one of the only practices in Miami Beach where both pillars live under one provider and one chart — so your aesthetic plan and your lab work are never managed in separate inboxes.

Both terms describe what we do. “Med spa” is the search term most patients use; “aesthetic clinic” is the more clinically accurate label for a practice led by a licensed Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority. We use them interchangeably because every aesthetic treatment at our Miami Beach office — Botox, fillers, biostimulators, microneedling, Kybella, prescription skincare — is performed by Kelly herself, not by an esthetician or rotating injector. That’s closer to an aesthetic clinic model than the typical med spa in Miami Beach.

Yes. Medical weight loss is one of our most-requested functional wellness services. We offer GLP-1 protocols including semaglutide and tirzepatide, prescribed only after a full lab panel — thyroid, insulin, leptin, cortisol, A1c — so the medication addresses what’s actually driving the resistance.

Patients are monitored monthly with InBody body composition scans and supported with peptide therapy or hormone optimization when labs warrant it.

Yes. In-and-out vitamin injections and IV therapy are available at our South of Fifth med spa: B12 for energy, Glutathione for skin clarity, MICC for fat metabolism support, Tri-Immune at the first sign of travel exposure. Sessions are short enough to fit between meetings or before an event.

From Brickell, you’re about 8 minutes over the MacArthur Causeway. Mid-Beach patients (Faena, the Edition, the Confidante) run about 9 minutes south on Collins. Bal Harbour and Surfside are roughly 18 minutes south — most of our patients from there make the drive once a quarter and combine appointments.

If you’re flying in, MIA is about 17 minutes from the office via the MacArthur or Julia Tuttle Causeway.

You will only ever see Kelly. The practice is intentionally owner-operated — there is no rotating injector calendar, no “available provider,” no handoff between consult and injection. Unlike most Miami Beach med spas that rotate four to six injectors through a single calendar, the person who plans your treatment is the person who delivers it, every time.

This is also why we book consultations on a same-week basis rather than same-day — Kelly’s calendar is the bottleneck, not the staff list.

In-person at 1000 5th Street: all med spa services (Botox, fillers, biostimulators, microneedling, Kybella, prescription skincare, hair restoration) and any treatment requiring physical assessment, lab draw, or in-office administration.

Telehealth is reserved for follow-ups — hormone titration check-ins, GLP-1 weight loss program adherence, lab review video calls, and Rx refills. Most patients use a hybrid: quarterly in-office, monthly telehealth.

Possibly, but it requires planning. Patients on anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication (aspirin, warfarin, Plavix, Eliquis, Xarelto, etc.) face an increased risk of bruising and bleeding at the injection site. Please disclose all current medications during your consultation so Kelly can plan accordingly — including injection technique, needle gauge, and timing around any upcoming events.

Important: Do not discontinue any anticoagulant on your own. Always consult your prescribing physician before making any changes to these medications. Kelly can coordinate with your prescriber when helpful.

Book online through the consultation form, or call (786) 529-1860. Kelly personally returns every new-patient inquiry within one business day. Same-week consults are usually available; tighter timing during Art Basel, Miami Swim Week, and the high season (December–April) — book a few weeks ahead if your visit is event-anchored.
